Fantasian new game plus12/18/2023 The first part looked global on Apple Arcade at the beginning of April 2021.įantasian is obtainable on Apple devices for Apple Arcade subscribers. This is the second main Fantasian update to come within the last few weeks. Quite than show the changes, we get hear some music, see a character, and besides hear about fresh game plus and the Void Realm dungeon. It is further meteorological than anything. Heres the trailer proceeding over the 2.5.0 Fantasian update. The announcement substantiated you will be capable to keep your equipment, skills got, and levels made. If you have all those things and see Shangri-Las Altar, besides you can bear over progress. It is rather linked to allies, Divine Artifacts, and whether or not someone has the Tachyon Medal. People will besides confront a main boss fight.Īs for the Fantasian fresh game plus element, someone doesnt have to thump the game to open it. There are three floors, each with three Void Crystals holding boss fights. The Void Realm in Fantasian features manifold boss battles. The further main feature takes fresh game plus to Fantasian. One part of it appends a Void Realm end-game dungeon with fresh challenges. As the story is finish, this addition is further about auxiliary features. It would be amazing if something could be done at Mistwalker’s end to stop it from happening though. There is further to do in Fantasian, as the 2.5.0 update wheeled out. I’m guessing because it’s running on an older iPad (6th generation, 2018 model). It can be the only app running and it’ll still happen. My only gripe with the game is that it will crash without fail after playing it for about an hour. More JRPG developers should consider something similar. The Dimengeon system is great for uninterrupted exploration. I’m 13 hours in and enjoying the experience. Original review which was written during Part 1:įantasian is good times except the crashing. Lastly, it feels like the only point for levelling up after Part 1 is to gain SP for Growth Maps and some extra cushion for characters so they an survive an extra hit from a boss. Barrier & DEF Up barely mitigates any damage.Īside from bosses, why does a level 50 area with level 50 enemies give puny amounts of experience for a party that’s several levels lower? Was the reduced experience after level 35 applied globally by accident? Healing is almost always a necessity after each hit as health easily falls into the yellow or red. I am NOT fine with the absolute absurdity of every one of them hitting like a truck even when the party level is 2 – 3 levels higher. Regarding part 2: I am absolutely fine with figuring out tricks and timing the swapping out of characters to tackle bosses. This is a strategy RPG that is not meant for all JRPG players I’m just bewildered why my review was considered less helpful than the simple, common complaint, “The bosses are too hard.” I didn’t lie or exaggerate anything it was what I saw happen when I played.Īt any rate, even though I don’t get many views on this site, I’d still like the review to be a little more accessible so here it is: Subscribers to Apple Arcade can download Part One of the game now and play for free after a 4GB download. The latter would require a little bit of scrolling but at least it’s not sitting way at the bottom like it is with the default sort option - i.e. Looks like developer Mistwalker didn’t want to wait until after April Fool’s Day in the west to launch their newest RPG Fantasian on Apple Arcade services. I just consider it that based on the battle design.Īpparently someone or some people didn’t take kindly to my critiques and down voted it making it impossible for anyone to see it unless they sorted by Most Critical or Most Recent. I submitted a short review to the Canadian App Store back in the Fall of last year explaining how I felt about the damage sponge bosses plus their insane attack power among other things. I enjoyed the first half of Mistwalker’s strategy* RPG but, like many others, found the difficulty spike during the second half to be frustrating.
